China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) has recently disclosed its latest retail fuel prices per liter in Sri Lanka, effective as of September 1st. Notably, Sinopec’s fuel prices are now Rs. 3 lower than the rates set by both the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) and Lanka Indian Oil Company (LIOC).
It’s worth mentioning that both the CPC and LIOC implemented fuel price increases starting from midnight on August 31st. In response to this fuel price revision, Sinopec has promptly adjusted its own retail fuel prices per liter as follows:
|Fuel Type||Price (per liter)|
|92 Octane Petrol||Rs. 358/-|
|95 Octane Petrol||Rs. 414/-|
|Auto Diesel||Rs. 338/-|
|Super Diesel||Rs. 356/-|
Furthermore, Sinopec Lanka has officially commenced its business operations, marking the beginning of fuel supply at its inaugural franchising filling station, located in Mattegoda. This strategic move reinforces Sinopec’s commitment to delivering competitive fuel prices and high-quality services to Sri Lankan consumers.
